Trump attacked Biden for being mentally incompetent. He did not attack Biden's age per se.

As for the bounce in the polls, it was expected and is not sustainable. It is not sustainable because most Americans are not better off, economically speaking, than they were during the Trump pre-pandemic term.

As for Brenda, I am quite confident she will reveal herself as being even more incompetent than Brandon in the coming months.

The wild card here is Trump. If he sticks to the issues and elaborates on the foreign policy differences, he will win by a large margin. If he engages in personal attacks and insults, he will put himself in a position to lose. Comments from Vance referring to single women as cat ladies is not productive and energizes the other side. It is also somewhat disrespectful since there are many reasons why some women do not marry or have children.

I am a moderate liberal who will split my ticket and vote for Trump.

I am an independent and profess no allegiance to any party.

One other thing: I do not trust the polls. There was a Quinepeac Poll right before the 2020 election that showed Biden with a 17% lead over Trump in Wisconsin.

The polls have become politicized and are no longer the somewhat accurate measures they use to be.

Qone0,
Trumps positions will now start to shift as he tries to find something that will stick with independents.
I don't think anything will stick.

Trump may have tried to "triangulate" after winning the debate against Brandon, but now that Brandon dropped out, that plan is out the window.

Instead, Trump is opening fire with all tubes on Brenda.

And he might end up driving away the independents ... again.

The only question is this: Will Brenda do likewise?
