Henry, >> should wait until '99<< Or, at worst, the fourth quarter of '98. Bernie.

Henry, I don't mind the mindless banter (much), but when posters lie to the thread about their position in a stock and then come back and admit it and mock us for believing the lies, that I get a little irritated. Its such a waste of everyone's time.

Message 3430350

What does it take to get kicked off the thread?

Actually, if earnings are the key driver, the posters looking for LGND earnings should wait until 1999, which I'm sure would please most of the posters and lurkers on this board.

You're right, I'm pleased. It's nice to see something objective.

After filling this thread with rah-rah notes about press releases, etc., it's nice to see something real.

There have been so many incorrect predictions on this thread for so long (starting with the title, then the first prediction -- message #17, 100% wrong....)

All those "Hey guys, a press release is coming out next week, I bet that will make the stock go up!" type messages ... it makes me wonder.

So yes, I am pleased to see even a little analysis about earnings.
