Couldn't hold on though - closed down 1/8 at $31 5/8. Read a good article in WSJ about the Baby Bells wanting to build big data networks as a way around the ban on entering long distance - transmit voice as data packets. The Bells would base these big data networks around IP - gee isn't this what BAY has been saying for awhile, the industry will form around IP. Hope that BAY's IP centered strategy can help them grab some big business from the Bells. They've been trying to build a product line to please the telcos/ISPs - hopefully they will be successful.
