I had Covid Alpha. I put an extra comforter on and sweated for a good four hours, then it was gone.

You had it much worse than me. I don't know what variant I had, but I came down with Covid at the end of February 2024. The worst part of it was the extreme fatigue. Plus, the sore throat was pretty bad.

I got diagnosed with Covid at an urgent care in El Paso, TX on a late Sunday afternoon. The nurse Practitioner was an ignoramus: she told me that my symptoms were mild and they wouldn't get any worse. She did not give me anything because all I had was a scratchy throat and a congested head, with a slight fever. In two days, my symptoms got much worse.
