Good stuff, Hans

One thing to consider is the new pricing levels with Modeler, Professional and Enterprise to upgrade to full Rose versions with additional revenue possibilities from every user of Developer Studio. The integration piece is starting to look like a good idea and now Rational can focus on upgrading and then putting all of their other products into Visual Studio users.

If Netscape had licensed their browser to MSFT four years ago, reduced the need for MSFT to build Explorer and then focused on content or commerce on the web vs. their browser, they would be in a much better position today. I think Rational is avoiding the mistake made by Netscape.

Hans-Erik, your post about the conversation with a RAL rep and developments for Rose '98 are still more oil into the nicely burning RATL flames.

The extent of continued and repeated insider buying is startling. I follow insider dealings for a pretty long time (years) already: RATL must be for real.

I hate being a raging bull on anything, but I guess I must be considered one on RATL...
