With Ballard going (potentially) into the TSE 100 index, there are some positioning going on. Best guess is that 300,000 shares required so that means a bit of movement between funds.

Sorry Harvey, I've been away on business. Where was it written that Ballard will go on the TSE 100? I hadn't heard that but as I said I've been out of contact with things.

I agree with the person responding to the Cdn Business article, the writer is voicing issues that were more worrisome years ago but with each passing day we get more comfort on each hurdle that needs to be overcome. The Business Week article shows just how real the concept is in Detroit.

Calstart has an item in Newsnotes which describes a big fuel cell research centre being setup in California and which will be officially opened Feb. 25th. It's a government research effort. Stay tuned.

I'm still seeing comments re the Ford TV ads for Ballard fuel cells on the Motley Fool thread, the last item said the production people were telling others to buy the stock, so they must be favourable to BLD. No firm confirmation yet though, but we know Ford put print ads out.

That's all for now.
