I get the sense that Brandon is once again taking the controls. From the RuZZia prisoner swap to the war in Gaza, he seems to be taking a more active role. And this was all enabled by him dropping his bid for re-election, thereby being able to focus his diminished capabilities toward his job as president. I'm cautiously optimistic that Brandon will set things back on course. And if so, dropping his bid for re-election may end up being the smartest decision he has ever made in his political career.
