>>"dancing with myself...?">>

Here's at least one other (new) PRIA guy. Nice article. I watched PRIA blast off last year before I could get my act together to buy it, and am actually thankful for the "Asian Contagion" for giving me a second opportunity to get it at these low prices.

At the Dataquest semiconductor conference in San Diego Sept. 1997, they predicted Automation as one of the strongest beneficiaries of the move to 300mm and also as a beneficiary of the move to smaller geometries. It seems humans just pollute that semi micro-environment a little too much for those high density - fine line applications. I plan to keep loading on more shares every time there is any pullback until PRIA becomes one of my major holdings.

Chris:

I think that Onan was stroking something else besides his ego. Anyway, thanks for the link. If things are quiet on this thread lately, it is because we are waiting for that happy day when we burst through the previous high of $59. Even when things are great, the thread is fairly quiet and a lot of the traffic is made up of day traders saying that they are in at $XX and that they will sell at $YY unless they get stopped loss out at $ZZ, but only if they decide to hold overnight. Actually, given the volatility of this company's stock, they may be on the right track. I know its been quite a thrilling roller coaster for me. I just hang on and hope for the best.

Today, I bought shares of PRIA at 29 1/2. I am a value oriented investor who looks for beaten down, high-quality companies that dominate/lead fast-growing niches.

in the chip sector, I also own:

amat
klac
nvls
egls
