Bingo expansion plans not working:

I give you from the company's home page.

As of 8/1/97

20 operating bingo centers
5 centers to open by 9/30/97
25 total bingo centers

75 operating video gaming machines
75 video games to be added by 9/30/97
150 total video gaming machines

Let's see. They fell short on the bingo halls, but they blew away the VGM market. Seems to me you are only presenting one half of the story when you focus on the bingo hall expansion and state the company is failing in their plans. I would say they deviated from their plans, changed focus to increase immediate cash flows and earnings so they could return in a better position to continue their bingo hall rampage. In the meantime they made some hard business decisions and closed some halls. Were those halls a mistake? Probably, but the fact remains they are aggressive in cost cutting and that is very important.

Let's not get so negative so as to ignore the positives. We saw what can happen when we go the other way and get irrationally positive. How about a nice even level of optimism or skepticism.

If any of you are looking for a risk free investment return, could I suggest CD's?

PS - Don't put more than $100,000 in any given bank if you take my advice. You might then be at risk.
