I'm just going thru July statements and entering dividends and distributions received into my tracking spreadsheet. I guess you can consider Canadian dividends as variable since each one seems to change based on the exchange rate of the Canadian dollar and the US dollar. I had not considered that before, but since I dislike changing divs....but I do like the safety of Canuck banks, I will have to think if I want to hold them going forward. The fluctuations are not gigantic, just mildly annoying.
