Re: If you were to construct a portfolio with a 7.5% yield point, what would it look like? I would have to see the actual holdings and their position size before I could come up with a plan. If we were using the Older Folk Portfolio for a template, I would start selling the equities like PG, AVGO, HD, etc. and put half of the proceeds into something like SCHD and the other half into CEF's. This would bring the portfolio yield up in size from 7.05% where it sits currently.
