Here's a paragraph that irked me just a bit: "This month, Integrion Financial Network -- an industry partnership that includes BankAmerica -- announced a joint venture with Checkfree to form an online bill presentment service that will compete with Microsoft and First Data's MSFDC, which was established last summer." "WILL compete?" Come on! They will IF and WHEN MSDFC ever gets its late-starting act together and on the road. But such is the power of Bill Gates -- that $9 billion buys you instant credibility whether or not you've done anything to earn it. The reporter SHOULD have said MSDFC will compete with CKFR and Integrion.
