I actually agree with you. Moving from a 5% portfolio yield to a 7.5% yield would need to make drastic changes, changes I don't think would provide the comfort level needed to make them.

If that's what they want, I'll provide it, but getting to 7.5% immediately isn't the best course of action in my opinion. If working on it over time, that would be much more different and doable. It took almost 10 years to build the Older Folk Portfolio up to a 7% yield, and if I needed 7.5%, it would be much easier to get that last 0.5%. Getting 2.5% immediately, on a good sized portfolio is a lot more difficult.
