You've got me confused: your drivers license shows your photo doesn't it? Isn't that a photo ID?
But it wasn't enough? not good enough?
Where I vote I have to sign in and my signature gets compared to their records. The voting officials already know me, so I can't tell what all checks they have to perform to let me vote. I'm no expert on the matter.
The voter rolls do seem important. And both parties have their reps there to monitor.
Taking 90,000 people off those rolls in whatever state strikes me as rife with errors and dangerous. Why not just stick to monitoring the actual voters?
