Sure, For the < 80 condition:

Using hhv( DATA ARRAY, PERIODS ) --

hhv(Stoch(x,x),10) < 80

The up-and-down movement at 80 would also be excluded for 10 days after crossing below with this, but I can't figure exactly how to write an exclusion for this specific condition at the moment. Would it make any difference just as long as it was below 80 for 10 days either way?

Chris,
Perhaps what you're looking for is BarsSince, which calculates the number of bars (time periods) that have passed since a condition was true.

barssince(Stoch(x,x)>80)<10 will give a signal if stochastic is/has been above 80 in the past 10 periods.

Chris: Here's a long formula that you can add to any system to make sure the Stochastics indicator has been less than 80 over the past 10 days. I don't know what periods you're using for Stochastics, so I just threw in (13,5), but you can change those.

Here's the formula:

Stoch(13,5)<80 AND
Ref(Stoch(13,5),-1)<80 AND
Ref(Stoch(13,5),-2)<80 AND
Ref(Stoch(13,5),-3)<80 AND
Ref(Stoch(13,5),-4)<80 AND
Ref(Stoch(13,5),-5)<80 AND
Ref(Stoch(13,5),-6)<80 AND
Ref(Stoch(13,5),-7)<80 AND
Ref(Stoch(13,5),-8)<80 AND
Ref(Stoch(13,5),-9)<80
