Dan Masters became Pres/CEO in Oct 96. Prior to this his consulting Co had been hired by MIS to help put Wheel to Wheel in place. W Shaw who was Pres but not day to day asked him to take over the co because the shareholders no longer had any faith in the founders and the management team. Basically a shareholder revolt.

I know for a fact that MIS purchased the trademarks from one of the founders of MIS and Joe Sings statements are made up hogwash. It was that person not MIS who made promises to people beyond his authority he was not a director or officer and MIS was not about to pay someone hundreds of thousands of dollars they were not obligated to pay legally or morally. It was also that person who was under investigation from the BC securities Commission that asked the company to move from VSE to Nasdaq OTC BB. When the shareholders found out about the investigation (I am told he is a pro stock promoter who is well known to authorities) he was asked to leave the company.

MIS has decided to buy an existing auto co rather than start from scratch so as I understand they backed away from opening new stores in areas that the company they are buying is in. This includes Alberta and New Brunswick. I have also been told that the mess left behind from the founders kept MIS busy until July of last year. Apparently the financial records were a mess and previous management kept interfering in the company.

I also understand that everything is now OK and that if we read current info from the co MIS will be a major retailer shortly.

Joe any response. You sound like one of the ex managers of MIS who was asked to leave and has sour grapes. You guys just cant stand the fact that MIS will succeed without you. MIS isnt posting nasty things about your current co on its SI string why dont you do the same.
