It wasn't a scheme, a grand jury voted to bring him to trial.
According to Bill, it was impossible for Trump to get a fair and impartial jury in "deep blue" New York.

Never mind the fact that 20% of Manhattan residents voted for Trump.

Manhattan has a population of 1.6M, which means there are at least 320K potential jurors who aren't part of some gRaNd cOnSpIrAcY to convict Trump by any means necessary.

I pointed this out to Bill a while back, but I only succeeded in upsetting him ...
