You seem not to understand.

I have two t/a charting programs.

One is real time and the other is end of day and needs to be updated by downloading that day's information.

Since the market is close, I did not have my real-time chart up, so I looked on my other program (which I have not updated yet with today's data)

so when I got the avg. volume number from the chart, it did not include today's volume, and the avg. was based on the last 21 days (not counting today)

And has any of this back and forth done anything for you ?

the point is that you used 6,000 as the avg. and that is very misleading.

using your own 26,000 figure, you posted a number that is more than 400% off of the true avg. volume.
