I was just checking NOAA's latest updates on these sudden, heavy rainfall events.

The NE had the highest percentage increase the last couple decades, roughly 35% increase.

The NW had the lowest at around 1% in the lower 48.

Fortunately here in the NW our climate impacts will be amongst the lowest in the world.
