While it is true that there are left leaning and right leaning independents. They will flip their leaning if they see things they don't like in the party they lean towards. This is evident in their flip toward Trump when the democrats ran Biden who they saw as too old. Then the flip back when Biden dropped out. Now trump is failing to flip any back as more flip towards Harris daily. MAGA is old and tired, if one has not already been sucked into that. Chances are they never will be converted. It will slowly fade away if Trump wins or not. It's death will just be faster if Trump loses.
