Hello! I have come up for air, and thought I would take a peek at the SI board. It looks like it has been a busy week all around! A lot of posts that could take weeks to get through...

Anyhow, most people probably don't realize how much activity there is after a launch. There are teams of people working around the clock for quite some time. The hours are grueling, and the shifts are long. Physics dictates that things must happen at a certain time. Sometimes there is no alternative but to work literally around the clock. Anyway, that explains where I've been lately.

I thought I would squash a rumor, that I saw on this thread: There are four healthy G* spacecraft flying over our heads right now. There are no indications that any of the four spacecraft have been compromised by launch in any way. Further, there are no signs that any of the spacecraft can not be expected to complete its full intended revenue producing purpose. As of this writing, things at the SOCC are going swimmingly. As for specific details, I cannot comment because that would be "proprietary". Despite the long hours to support launches, I do like my job :-)
