Rick,

Nice message! Hope it finds its way to the right person... Now, all we need is about 999 more e-mails to USA Today like that one. I am sending number 2.

Thx,

Thank you again for your sound advice... I have the same feelings... I tend to get excited when I see a rise, then when it goes down, I want to sell for fear it will again dump and I will not get in on it... Day traders are making a fortune on people loosing control... Cool heads will prevail...

<<Show a bit of both sides of the coin if possible;
that is if your automaker masters will allow you.>>

Hehehehe Rick well done.

When was the last time the nations leading newspaper wrote 4 to 5 articles in a span of less than a week about a company that trades on OTC:BB. NEVER. This is simply unprecedented. It is not only USA Today but also the LA Times, LA Daily NEWS, Stock Detective etc etc. They all want it seems to gang up against this poor defence-less small company called BAT International.

Today's article on BAT by USA today is simply outrageous and completely one-sided I agree with Rick totally.
usatoday.com

I'm not blind. I can tell what's going on here. What I see is a malicious well ochestrated campaign by certain interested parties with the help of the media trying to tarnish BAT's reputation..

I have been informed that some of the Hollywood luminaries have also noticed this one sided attack on BAT and are very concerned that big money is out to blind-side BAT.

Ernest Borgnine had called BAT this mornig and enquired what he can do to help. I'm told he will donate a FORD Contour towards the dyno test.

I always loved an underdog fighting against all odds to survive. BAT international is one. I hope it will survive the current onslaught and grow to be a prosperous company one day.

This is a great letter- I will follow suit. I must say I am afraid you were preaching to the diverted- USA today is and always will be as we newsdealers called it when it first came out- a RAG. We couldn't believe it was to be placed on the same table as WSJ, Christian Science Monitor, NY Times, even the Village Voice!

I believe you are missing the point on USA Today. In your case, think of it as a tiny investment obstructing the view of the forest.

BAT is part of a much larger issue. That being the SEC requiring public companies trading on the OTC to file certified financial statements. It just so happens, the controversy surrounding BAAT exemplifies the SEC's concern, and therefore, BAT has made it to the the front page Money Section.

We all know the reason behind the SEC's concern. Put succinctly the SEC is behind the curve as it enters the information age. Frankly, I'm looking forward to getting instant certified information on which to measure the value of a company like BAT in a sea of dubious claims.

BTW, As we drive boldly forward looking into the rear view mirror, where have we seen the likes of this before?

baat.com

I particularly liked "... this agreement was the final ingredient that is necessary to bring inexpensive, high performance electric vehicles to the marketplace before 1998".

Think I'll buy more on this one. Given the time frame, we should be getting a surprise announcement any day stating sales are brisk and the Big 3 are running scared. Got'ta go, I'm off to do more DD, Willie style.

Given enough rope, Ole bull shit Joe will hang himself.
