Three US Presidents were impeached by the House of Representatives - Andrew Johnson, Bill Clinton, and Donald Trump (twice!). Nixon resigned, so he does not qualify. Clinton and Trump stayed in Office. You indeed need 2/3 majority in the senate to remove a President. I think if Trump is back in office, there will be more impeachments, and the US Congress may struggle certifying his win on January 6 2025 if he wins again. The candidates both parties nominate just don’t appeal to the moderates, you are either a commie or a destructor of American freedoms. The latter is why many will be voting against Trump, he had more freedoms destroyed than others, even if his Supreme Court nominees did it. Kamala is the commie and will clearly promote more affirmative action which hurts competitiveness. I approve of Biden administration efforts to bring manufacturing home. Trump only has a good track record on War, not so good on trade and domestic issues.
