This is odd:

*******

During an interview with Fox News, anchor Martha MacCallum asked the senator about Democratic vice presidential candidate Governor Tim Walz calling him "Mr Fancy Pants Ivy League" and pointing out that no one from his small town high school went to Yale.

I had 24 kids in my high school class and none of them went to Yale,” Walz said, referencing Vance's alma mater. “But I’ll tell you what, growing up in a small town like that, you learn to take care of each other.”

Vance said he was proud that he went to Yale, and said he was surprised Walz was so critical.

JD Vance forced to listen to insult after insult during excruciating media interviews (The Independent, via Yahoo)

*******

Weird flex, but OK.

If any party is the party of "Mr Fancy Pants Ivy League," it's the Democrats, more so than ever before.

It won’t be ruled by Brenda, the DNC. You can see how policing worked in post GFC Greece. The mob burned them alive. It’s not about Marxism, Marxism does not work, but neither does pure capitalism with extreme polarity and two classes, the working poor and the rich. It’s what America has become. Reduce the gini coefficient, nobody suggests a Marxist revolution. More humane societies work. Trump leads to more polarization and possibly a revolt. In fact, both Kamala and Trump do. If blue means broke why are then the richest States in the US blue?

In Japan and Asia people slave for corporations, the corporations won’t fire anyone in down time. Asia boom.
In Europe people live decent lifestyles too, and the education and health systems are much better. It’s predatory capitalism in America, it’s all about the money, not the people, so it started to rot to the core and become less competitive. Balance is important in everything. Why slave 24/7 if you are not even getting paid?
F it! So decides the younger generation. I work to live not live to work. No unions mean worse pay and job security for workers. Sure small businesses will care but they will be eaten by the big business.

There was continuity actually. It was Trump who started vaccine Manhattan project and promised to send checks to everyone. Biden just did what every other country was doing, lockdowns, mask mandates, and stimulus checks. It was the pandemic, not Biden which caused the inflation. Ditto Trump, he did not cause 2020 sharp recession. What he did do was getting impeached twice, and that counts as not being able to work with Congress. His Mexican wall is a waste of money. You can probably walk across the Canadian border undetected. Canada never labeled Muslims as terrorists, it never had 9-11. There are Chechens in Russia who blew up buildings in Moscow. Tsarnaev brothers (chechens of course) even went as far as Boston MA and planted a bomb at a marathon running event killing a few people. US was condemning Russian war in its Chechen republic at the time. Religious wars have a very long history, and Christians were not angels during the Middle Ages, not even now. Spanish Inquisition killed Jews by torture, tie hands and legs to horses and pull a person apart. These were Christians. They were combatting heresy.

Socialism/Communism can never work. It goes against human nature. People want to be rewarded for their hard work. If they arent they stop working, Its really as simple as that and then you run out of other peoples money
