55% was probably due to the crash. I know that shorters do very good homework and shouldn't be ignored. I only have one problem. When I am not looking at him on the television I can only remember him in my mind as Al Franken. For some reason that always comes to mind.

Fleck may have gotten a 55% return, but I bet he trades
like crazy to get that return, and his short-term gains
are probably a lot more than his long term. Was he
seriously shorting Dell? If you bought Dell in July and
never touched it once you'd have a return of over 150%
now. Much less sweat and stress.
