John, another convertible and large insider sale SPEH. biz.yahoo.com
I started a short position today. Note that even the company employee stock fund is dumping shares.

<< Craig: If you had bought CYMI last August, you might not be so thrilled with management >>

What is management supposed to do? They sell into countries like S Korea. I suppose AMAT management is bad because their stock is down so much too? TXN are a bunch of jokers as well? Their stock certainly took a hit. Sometimes these companies are affected by outside factors beyond their control. CYMI hasn't shown any major signs of failing to execute. They are growing like a weed. That growth will slow somewhat for a few quarters while Asia tries to regain it's footing. Long term the chip industry has the future of smaller chips resting on CYMI.

People who bought CYMI last August should have understood the risks at that valuation level. It's a lot less risky at 15 than 50.

Short them at 20 if you want, but they are not a worthless good for nothing company like many others that are brought up on this thread. And I don't think it's the fault of management. I think it's due to macro-economic factors.
