Latest I've heard is that Cambior is sending drill rigs down to Ecuador, to drill some other company's property. I bet those rigs are probably destined for Laplata! I've heard that Cambior has moved the Laplata up to #6 or #7 on its priority list, out of all their properties.
I personally hope Cambior drops the option on the Laplata, cause then we'd have 100% of the property. I'm sure other companies would be licking their chops, at getting a chance to drill a few holes on Laplata! Especially with these average grades, 8 grams Gold/ton, 70 grams Silver/ton, 4% Copper, 6% Zinc, 0.5 % Lead.
The Laplata property is economic even with todays low metal prices. We could possibly be sitting on a billion dollar deposit, but you'd never know it if you looked at Zappa's share price! With at least a million tons proven to date with a value of $140/ton, we only need to find about 7 million tons to actually become a billion dollar deposit! Remember there are only 22 drill holes completed to date. People must be looking for 150 meter sections of massive sulphide, and not noticing Zappa's rich 16 meter section which is still open in several directions! The Zone is getting fatter as well the further South Cambior has drilled! Just maybe we will find out why Cambior has been so hush hush about this property! Cambior completed pulse testing about a year ago on Laplata, and said they couldn't get proper readings cause there was to much Zinc in the ground???

I'm sure things should really start happening in the next few weeks! Although I've thought this for the last year or so? Cambior will probably want to get another cheap share issue before they do much in the way of promotion for Zappa's shareholders!
