Dippy (and Don). Interesting info on Libraries.

For me, I find my time is worth something so if a subscription saves me 12 trips to the library each yr, then it is worth it for me. I'll pay a mechanic $60 or more per hr to fix my car and he often does a poorer job than if I had done it myself. For relative value, I give Marketimer good marks.

My major reason for my Newsletter subscription is the accuracy of the timing model to date and it seems worth having "my broker" snail mail me a sell signal for the $185 price which is far less than one might pay a broker to advise you to sell/buy your $100,000 portfolio. Last count, 6% of that is $6K. By accuracy, I mean calling the local bottoms or buying opportunities while many others were running for the hills. Many of us have been long the market since '87, but I have not heard of anyone calling the inflection points for making enhanced profits so well as has DaBrink. Again, to me the price is worth paying if I get the sell signal before the radio listeners or before I read it here. With the latency of the US mail, I am starting to think that I will read it here first so I may snail mail MrBrinker a letter saying my many yrs of paying for the newsletter might deserve a $2 overnight letter when the sell signal comes.
