I only toot my own horn for a reason.

Today's ad in the WSJ was IMHO the best of the lot. I feel good about that because a couple of months ago I spotted a small placement ad in the WSJ announcing that they were compiling a special advertising supplement for Y2k to be published in February and that they were looking for advertisers.

I copied the ad, posted it on-line (SI) and sent it to Scott. He immediately wrote back thanking me for sending it along, saying that he thought advertising in the Journal might be a great idea for the company and that he would discuss it further with the officers.

Two months and $70,000.00 later, I'm hoping that TAVA (and we as well) get a great bang for our buck.

I bring this up only to affirm that individual investors (as Karl, Tmex, C.K., Skipard, etc., et al., have proved time and time again) can and do make a corporate difference .... that ideas and suggestions are welcomed by the companies we invest in, and that we are all, to a certain degree, responsible for the success of the companies we invest in ... i.e., Karl's excellent question on the conference call regarding the future of TAVA and Cheryl's tireless efforts to educate the general public, to name just a few, come to mind ..... there is probably a SI reader, lurker out there, somewhere, who will prove significant to TAVA's future ..... I say god bless, break a leg and go for it.

Thanks to everyone for their efforts.... hope we have another buying opportunity before hard news takes us into the next orbit ...
