Perhaps as I am "addicted" to driving to windsurf, etc... and I suppose some could say I'm selfish to burn fossil fuels for recreation, but I don't own the oil companies directly. Mostly because they are so hated and why invest with such a headwind? I am no longer addicted to tobacco or alcohol, and I don't want to profit from others who haven't kicked or avoided the habits. I HAVE made great money in SFM... my best gainer this year and the shares in my ROTH are sitting on a 517% gain for spotting this great small cap early... so there is plenty to be made from investments that profit from trying to improve health.
