More on conference call-repost

Lou,

I would recommend to everyone that they listen to
the conference call. There's a ton of stuff happening
and lots of details to perk your interest.
One interesting comment from Mr. Sikes dealt with
the rumors of the Benton Shares selling off recently.
He flat out stated that they have not been hitting the
market due to some Rule 144 restrictions. He and the
liquidators have scheduled a meeting in New York this week
as part of their continuing discussions for proper placement.
Anyway, the conference call was extremely informative
and I am planning to record the entire thing tomorrow at
the office. (we have a friday's free long distance deal
with Sprint) I'll also see if I can get our typist to put it
on paper for fax purposes. I'll let you know.

I e-mailed this reposter my willingness to accept a fax
over the weekend, if he gets it typed. I will be out of town
until late Sunday. An hour of typing to a recording seems
a bit, plus it might be too much for posting. Sorry, I can't
be specific until Monday. Maybe, if I get it,I can e-mail it to those
who would want the entire document. We will just have to wait and
see.

Lou

Mark W.,

I would like very much to thank you for posting this Conference Call info. As you indicated it was full of interesting info. Despite all the FRAM news I found it most heartening to hear that RMTR is as interested as we are in getting new production partners for EDRAM products; that the JDEC news on the Superset Standard may be out in March; that new ESDRAM designs are looking for 64Mb, DDR designs and possible speeds north of 200Mhz.

Not that it is all a bed of roses but anyone seriously invested in or considering investing in this company should certainly spend the time to hear it IMHO.

It looks like IBM (ESDRAM) and Hitachi (FRAM) news of sampling should occur before mid year with production starting before year end. And income from 16k FRAM product sales should pick up nicely from Rhome as it continues to ramp up. There was very little info on volumes although the info on margins and backlog was very encouraging.

Based on what I heard I don't see a problem from Benton shares. Short term concerns seemed to be more over the question of financing. If we have any dilution worries I suspect it is most likely to come from that direction. This might depend on two things based on my listening between the lines so to speak:

1. The NEB line of credit debt comes due in June but may be rolled over on reasonable terms.
2. If the deal with SGS-T for FRAM production includes building the product at RMTR, the upgrading of facilities may put pressure on RMTR's borrowing or equity placement/sales.

EDRAM is going out the door at over $10/unit which is great for DRAM so we may get lucky. But I do not expect product sales to be capable of funding a foundry build out at RMTR in the intermediate term.

But again for the details everyone should give a listen to the tape. Much of the above is just my reading and I have left tons of financial and tech stuff out. These were just the highlights in my view.
