Enigma,

I didn't have time to break down the calculations and mention the sources of info ect. I got a good laugh out of your post, anyway, if all I did was take the number of ounces and x's it by the price of silver, I could have had my kids do that for their math exercise.

Obviousely you don't know me, and haven't read previous posts by myself and many others. I take your post as a direct insult, as I had two different sources give me some valuable info on this. My above post DOES take into account extraction costs, mine set-up fees, development, and average production, as well as extraction costs.......not even taking into account the gold. This is why I said "NET" otherwise the word "GROSS" would have been used.

Sorry if posted already, but what's the est. capital cost of mine construction, etc?? I also thought this mgmt team wasn't in PFG to become a producer. I hope they can dump this property off to another major/intermediate (should ABX walk); otherwise, the upside would be severely limited.

Best of luck,

Brad.

enigma, The market is currently valuing Diablillos at about $45mil.

Message 3374026

What is it really worth? Who knows. Right now not much.

In the ground - silver is usually valued at $1/oz & gold $20-50/oz
Taking the lower gold value but assuming Diablillos has indeed expanded by 35% we should have about 120,000,000oz ag & 400,000oz au = $128,000,000.

Obviously the market has concluded that our silver is valued at only $.30/oz in the ground or that it will be extraordinarily expensive to recover or that it will never be recovered in our lifetime or that there is plenty of time left for a proper valuation.

To try and value this deposit based on cash flow, ROI etc is going to be pretty hard without a lot more information. If you have the resources to do this kind of work or know those who can..please feel free to share it with us.

For my own investment purposes I have concluded that PFG should be at $5/sh. How many years it will be before the market agrees is what makes it all interesting (while not currently rewarding)
