<< 1) Why then do you respond to the notes that lack substance? You are just adding to what you so detest! >>

When I correct misinformation, I am adding something of substance to the thread. I don't "detest" snide, incorrect posts. I dislike them. I actually feel sorry for people that feel compelled to write snide comments MOST OF THE TIME. I wonder why their lives might be so empty that they must spend so much time just to annoy others.

I also feel that those who issue snide, meaningless comments about the chances of a company, such as LGND, probably do not have much money in the market, and probably don't really invest in the market. They are probably just jealous of others who have money to invest in the market. This is not the only thread that has posters of snide, meaningless notes.

There is no guarantee that LGND will hit the big bucks. But, in my opinion, there is a high probability that Ligand is going to come out with some blockbuster drugs. They seem to be developing, what I consider to be: "The Magic Bullet" - Targretin. Now...... you can consider that statement as HYPE!

<< As I have said before, SI is a place to discuss stocks, not a place to make informed investing decisions. >>

Aren't you even a little embarrassed to make that statement?

Hmmmm!? Perhaps that is why you might not mind the posting of notes that do not contain substance. You are not looking to use SI as an informed, investing tool, only a discussion tool!?

By the way, did you find out whether or not your broker took rolls of pennies yet?

Regards, Bob

Where do you suggest? A brokerage firm?
