Re: DELL stock buybacks: this is an old press release (SEP 12). At that time they had purchased 68 million shares and had contracts extending through JAN 99 to buy an additional 23 million shares, leaving them an authorization to purchase an additional 34 million shares, or 68M post split. I have no hard evidence that they have purchased any more contracts, but would be surprised to find that they did not do so during the recent dip. us.dell.com DELLish, 3.
