The post included a 2019 Mother Jones post to Twitter or somewhere blaming Trump's relaxation of slaughterhouse inspections on the Boar's Head listeria outbreak. There is nothing in the press so far that suggests a slaughterhouse utilized by Boar's Head was the source of the listeria. So, it seems to me the post is misleading if not outright incorrect in attempting to blame Trump for the outbreak. I'm not sure what's unclear or really weird about that observation. I posted about only because I have familiarity with meat processing, including having stood on slaugtherhouse kill floors where my own livestock were being slaughtered. Do you have evidence from the press that relaxing inspections at slaughterhouses had anything to do with the mess they found at the Boar's Head processing and packaging facility? Perhaps lax inspections at that plant was a cause, but that has nothing to do with Trump relaxing slaugherhouse inspection requirements.
