Yep,

They may not be the most efficient storage solution out there. But for places like California where there is excess solar energy almost daily, an imperfect storage solution is much, much better than no solution.

Cheap storage is a real gamechanger as we are seeing around the world now, especially with a lot of excess PV and wind generation.

We built out a lot of excess fossil fueled generation that is just not needed anymore.

Why not go with something that's clean and sustainable for thousands of years.

In fact millions of years...
