" In the the US we give free speech it’s due." And yet, people have been permanently kicked off of SI for what they have said. Go figure. You know what I think? The 1st means we won't have a law saying that corporations can't censor speech.

Weaponized social media wasn't around when the constitution was written. Also, the guns permitted were single shot muzzle loaders, and mass shootings didn't exist, because they were impossible. Even with that, they included the ignored 'well regulated militia' clause. As a country, we've benefitted greatly by being bordered by friendly countries, and separated from hostile one's by vast oceans. We thought we were special, even exceptional. This has never been true.
