" alleging that a “massive advertiser boycott” deprived the company of billions of dollars ..."

How about, instead, "his degraded product deprived the company of billions of dollars?"

Your mama don’t allow hate speech but the Constitution of the United States does.

Hate speech is entirely legal in these United States. Yo 'Moma may have the right to decide what's hate speech in her house. But in the USA, Hate Speech is protected by our Constitution. Period. End of story.

Child porn is a different matter.

>> Rat's enjoying the advertisers assaulting him. His whine is almost as good as Trump's.

It doesn't matter. He has previously stated that he would continue what he is doing for the benefit of supporting free speech if he had no advertisers at all. And he has reiterated that position very publicly.

Reality is that he can handle any losses it generates with ease, and he [correctly] believes it is the only option for maintaining some place for free speech to be available to the public. Had he not stepped in when he did it is clear this country would be far worse off than we are now. Which is no condemnation of the great Matt Taibbi & others, just that Twitter is what made the corruption of the Democrats (and FBI) as well as the online media that led to the misrepresnetations.

Eventually, pretty much everyone will admit it was mistake. The trustworthy media, today, is that which can be found on X.com.
