Intel boxed motherboard warranty... Many boards have a one year warranty, I have seen at least one with a two year warranty. This is the only manufacturer that I know of with a three year warranty. There may be others. I have not spent a lot of time looking at warranties. zeuspaulchannel.intel.com >>Intel Boxed Motherboards 3-Year Limited Warranty Intel is pleased to announce that we are extending the warranty period for new Intel boxed motherboards from one to three years. This three-year limited warranty applies to the R440LX, DK440LX, AL440LX and future boxed Intel motherboards. Motherboards introduced prior to the R440LX, DK440LX and AL440LX will continue to carry a one-year limited warranty. This expanded warranty offering results from a two-year quality improvement initiative. In 1995 Intel joined with its suppliers, customers, manufacturing engineers, design engineers, purchasing, and quality departments to reduce its already low motherboard defect rate. The focus on quality began at the planning stages and continued on through board design, validation, and shipment to you. As a result of this initiative, we have significantly reduced defect rates and have achieved a mean time between failure which is over 20 years. The focus on vendor programs, defensive design techniques, and new quality processes continues today with key lessons applied to each successive motherboard. Intel continuously strives for higher levels of quality while providing advanced, high performance products. We want to continue to be your choice as the premier provider of high quality motherboards.
