Sheesh! It was satire, not absurdity. Absurdity is not recognizing that many factors unrelated to immediate earnings can move stocks, and, as a result, not cashing in when you otherwise could. Satire is when humor is used to puncture the absurdity. Anyway, I agree that there are conspiracies and cabals afoot, because it's my understanding that sinister forces at Nasdaq have met in underground garages to agree that each day a new letter will be added to the Chromatics symbol, until, ultimately, the symbol will consist of hundreds of letters. Investors will be so discouraged when getting a quote that they will cease doing so and CCSI will be traded by private telephone calls between individuals, demonstrating the quintessential deconstruction of bid and ask marketing and the glorious flourishing of libertarian financial freedom. . . . Or maybe not. I need to think about this more.
