The whole incident with Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins stinks. He was yanked out of his $350k sports car outside the stadium for rolling his window back up after handing over his ID and telling the officer to write up the citation quickly because he was running late. When the cops pulled him off the street and moved to push him into a sitting position on the sidewalk, Hill asked not to be shoved around like that because he was still recovering from knee surgery. One cop lipped back, "Did they operate on your ears, too?"

Two of Hill's teammates stopped to inquire what was going on. One of them, former Walter Payton Man of the Year honoree Calais Campbell, was also handcuffed by the cops!

He [Campbell] said he got out of his car with his hands up and approached the police officers, explaining, “I’m a friend of his (Hill). I don’t know what’s going on here, but I think the situation is definitely unnecessary.”Campbell said he was told to leave, with an officer threatening to tow his car if he didn’t go away.“I told him I will stand where you want me to stand. You tell me how far I need to back up, and I’ll back up, but I’m not leaving the scene,” Campbell recounted. “This is my friend here. I’m here to support him. I’m not leaving.”When he remained, Campbell said the officer told him he was under arrest and put him in handcuffs.

For those who don't follow football, the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award is presented annually by the National Football League (NFL) honoring a player who in addition to displaying excellence on the playing field has shown a commitment to philanthropy and community impact off the field.

The biggest proponent of class warfare I ever met was the police officer husband of a co-worker. Anybody who made more money than he did was the enemy, especially if they were non-white or female.
