There was a protest, a riot. Some parts of it were physically violent (but not with firearms). There were a few broken windows. But there was NOT an insurrection. Nobody tried to take over the government. NOBODY was ever charged with insurrection. Not a single one of the 1,000 arrested was charged with insurrection. Because there was no insurrection.
