That's what I've been thinking too. I can't think of any other explanation for them caving in so easily to BDX's lawsuit. If the BXD technology they use is so basic that they couldn't evolve their products away from it, then I'm sure they would have fought the suit to the bitter end. Of course, the royalties will cost QDEL money in the short term.
