Waiting for the iPhone 21.

Why?

It's a nice number.

My current iPhones are quite a few generations behind.

Why change if they work?

They did not raise prices on these new iPhones, unlike in the past.

Given the lack of new whizbang hardware features and the delayed incremental rollout of Apple Intelligence, that was likely a smart move to keep the negative press to a dull roar this time and not anger their customers.

Might be a smart fiscal move to increase unit sales too, but we'll see. That would further push Services revenue.

Lots of memes created on social media immediately after the event made fun of the lack of compelling new iPhone hardware features too, funny stuff.

Your disdain for the high prices of smartphones is well known to even casual readers of this thread over the years. I'm glad you're able to make your low-priced Android/Google/Alphabet choices work for you.

You aren't the target market for any new Android or iPhone smartphone that I can see. They are status symbols for many, especially Millennials and GenZ kids. They don't care about spec comparisons or worry about pricing when using installment plans.

It's one of the main reasons iOS market share is so high in America, Apple's iPhone unit sales in the U.S. still beat everything from the Googleplex and Samsung combined.
