My former partner has been a super Democrat since I've known him(40 years). Ex Catholic, so one sided and myopic that any political discussion was useless. Now he is dying. Suddenly, faced with death, the entire underpinnings for his life have left him shattered, broken and addicted to a cornucopia of mind altering pills they feed him down at the VA clinic. He is lost and alone. Very sad.

I hate to say this, but I must-lol.

By coincidence, my son in law has a PHD from the university of California in Atmospheric Chemistry and is a renowned atmospheric scientist who has been published in Nature magazine, and is director of the Physics Department at a major northwest university.

I asked him one day:" how many atmospheric scientists do not believe in global warming"?

He said, matter of fact,:"none".

So as far as the scientific community is concerned it is settled science!

Cheers
