Earnings Growth has slowed from 211% to 159% to
75% to 55%. It's interesting that the people on
this thread think DELL is immune to getting hit.
An incredible company---from $.39 in 1990 to $122.
now. You really don't think a correction is due
when growth has slowed to 55%? The excessive
growth came from no competition and $2500-$3000
a box.

What's this... a negative comment on this thread??? Please stop posting this drivel. Any Dell long with at least 100 shares will be a millionaire within 5 years! Wait until Dell sell the chinese those 2 Billion PC's. The chinese
will then get on the internet so they can all buy Dell stock. Within 5 years
the market cap of Dell will excede the market cap of all other equities combined! How do I know this? I read this thread.

Hi Michael,

Personally I don't have that opinion...Rosemary, myself and a few others are just enjoying the "party" and celebrating a rare victory over the stock market. I'm a realist and I don't have any false or blind faith scenarios in my mind. On the other hand...a percentage gain on ANY company is hard to maintain when it starts out in the 200% neighborhood. I would prefer a 50% growth on a million dollars vs a 200% growth on one hundred dollars.

I am in Dell for the long haul..I am not expecting it to split every year or to NEVER falter..that would be naive. I do feel it is an extremely well run company, with good focus and excellent management. Once one of more of these things go away...I will re-evaluate my position and most likely follow suit.
