At Least Two Saudi Officials May Have Deliberately Assisted 9/11 Hijackers, New Evidence Suggests

Newly revealed information also raises questions about whether the FBI and CIA mishandled or downplayed evidence of the kingdom’s possible ties to the plotters.

Saudi embassy officials tasked with assisting those on student visas getting settled. Nothing new.

Nothing in the report about the three Saudi princes and diplomatic officials in Saudi Arabia who were linked to the hijacking plot and met mysterious deaths.

Some of the hijackers avoided being surveilled by the FBI since it was understood that the CIA had been tracking them in the hopes of converting them into undercover informants or developing a list of their domestic contacts by following them around. An agent has likely registered them as their responsibility. That issue was also brought up in the Boston Marathon bombing case and the Orlando Nightclub massacre.
