The insurance and reserve costs aren't helping condos at all...but

Talked to a buddy that lives 2 blocks off the water in Clearwater. 1,200' older home. Insurance went from $4k to $12k this year. Ouch!

If you're 75 and living off $2,200 SS and you're paying $1,000 mo insurance + taxes and utilities then you'd better get a job at Costco checking ID's.
