Do the Democrats throw John F'n Kerry under the bus because he's a wartime "loser" like John McCain? Do the Democrats throw Bill and Hillary Clinton under the bus and call them DINOs? Look at Obama and how well he's received. Look at Biden and how well he's received, even though his one and only debate performance this year was atrocious. Compare that to how the Bushes and the Cheneys are now received by you MAGA zealots. Or how Romney is labeled a RINO and a perpetual loser by you guys. Trump has created a personality cult around himself. Probably the most successful personality cult in the history of modern society, with a popularity that dwarfs even that of Taylor Swift. Every GOP politician that cares about his or her future in the party has knelt before Trump and kissed his ring. That includes those who used to criticize him, including the following:JD Vance Nikki Haley Ted Cruz Ron DeathSantis RFQ (technically he wasn't Republican, but still ...) Every single politician that I named above has done a complete 180 and joined the MAGA cult thinking that's where their political fortunes lie. Then there are newcomers like Vivek Ramaswamy who wrote a book on Woke Inc. and had a very successful career in the private sector before transitioning into politics. Even he's now repeating batshit crazy conspiracies like that Super Bowl nonsense. The current iteration of the GOP is a lot different these days. It looks exactly like what Pat Buchanan longed for 2-3 decades ago, and not what Ronald Reagan created back in the 1980's. (And speaking of Reagan, he would have NEVER courted the opinion of RuZZian cucks like Vicky Orban.) Contrast this with the Democrats, who are now embracing Jimmy Carter like never before. Bottom line is that the Democrats have not changed. The Republicans have. All thanks to Trump. Whether it's a change for the better or for the worse is still up in the air. But there's a real good chance that the GOP will become a minority party for many years to come. Tenchusatsu
