Yes on most spec warrants with time over a year. Short term options/warrants are a different story thou but i rarely buy shirt term wts. On a four year warrant i do not really care what the daily volatility is and it is just misleading to how i compare them with each other or the price fluctuations of the stock or how i compare it to other wts. So for IAU.WT i will use 50% every time i recalculate just changing to present stock price and diminished time.
But after i have the comparable base line price i do take into consideration stock market direction , sector direction , stock value compared to others in the same section etc.
